The most harrowing stories can be found in the glamor of a career. A winner of both the USA and World championships in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after a lot of struggle and enormous amount of perseverance. She was the only child of a single mom with five kids, Jones had a difficult and a squatter's childhood. Her mother was constantly shifting and even lived within the basement. Jones, who lived an erratic and mobile lifestyle until the time she entered high school, had to move to a new school each year. Jones moved away from her mom to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to pursue her interest in track. She lived with four different families throughout her time at high school to study in one place. Jones was a cellist with the school's orchestra, and winner of Gatorade the track and field award for athlete of the Year won her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award towards the conclusion of high school. Jones began her athletic career in the NCAA as one of the best hurdlers. She won the 100-meter obstacle during the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. In addition, she was a part of the team that finished 2nd in the 100 meters relay. Jones was the winner of both indoor and outdoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones had completed her college education in 2005, started to put in the effort for track. In 2005 she won the winner of the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she took in the Heusden and Ostrava racers.
Growing up within Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her early teens. Brandt's talent was recognized in Auckland by local casting director Brandt. She took the part of Naevia as part of the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In the course of her partnership together with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam Raimi's producers, she became an international movie star. She starred in the hit Netflix show Lucifer that ran for a six years run as the fan favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Lucifer has broken the record of binge viewing and was named as the best binged show in 2021 by Forbes. Brandt is next seen in a six-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira that will premiere in 2024. Other Netflix shows include animated adult show Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan, Chris Meloni. This will air in July 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt, born on December 2, 1981, in Cape Town South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire family of New Zealand into Auckland in 1999. In Auckland Brandt started out as sales representative and was later made an expert in IT. Lesley was featured in a variety of commercial ads after several modeling projects. She graduated with a major in acting in the year 2008. Then in 2009, she started learning in Meisner Methods of Study. Lesley's first big role with New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street, as a visitor supporting part. In the sequel to this sci-fi series This Is Not My Life she played the town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Later, she played the character in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
